Since 2026
Wisp Gallery is our own WordPress plugin, from the idea to the release. It turns images, posts and pages into galleries that visitors can filter by category, in five layouts: masonry, justified rows, grid, carousel and accordion. The lightbox is a native <dialog>, scroll reveal and hover effects are pure CSS.
It is built on core blocks and the Interactivity API. A gallery starts with 3 KB of JavaScript and loads the rest only when it needs it, with no jQuery or other dependencies. Importers bring over galleries from Envira, NextGEN, Modula and FooGallery, and through the Abilities API AI agents can list categories, tag images and create galleries. It ships in seven languages.
WordPress.org approved it in September 2026 and version 1.1.0 followed in October. It is free on WordPress.org. A separate Pro plugin, sold through Freemius, adds videos, WooCommerce products, albums and load more.
Besides the plugin we made the brand (an animated 5×5 tile logo that spells W-I-S-P), the marketing site as a static WordPress export on Cloudflare (Lighthouse 97 on mobile and 100 on desktop for the home page) and the launch video.
